My Position

Talent Acquisition Director- Employer Brand & Recruitment Marketing

Overview

I joined the Talent Acquisition team as a Marketer to build a new Talent Attraction program from the ground up for the firm. We had ambitious candidate growth goals and wanted to attract a younger demographic. I led the digital transformation of how we attracted candidates.

Responsibilities & Achievements:
  • Established a comprehensive Recruitment Marketing and Employer Brand program, shaping the strategic direction, brand positioning, and digital transformation with persona-driven content and cohesive visuals.
  • Successfully managed the program's $1M budget, agency relationships, talent acquisition digital advertising efforts, a high-performing team (2 FTE, 2 CONTR), and creating versatile event toolkits.
  • Spearheaded the creation of the firm-wide Employer Value Proposition and Employer Brand Identity Guidelines, enhancing the candidate and employee experience.
  • Managed creative design, production, and data validation/reporting for brand campaigns, optimizing lead generation and conversion.

Employer Brand Guidelines

Launched the first ever employer brand guidelines for the firm ensuring that our employer brand and internal communications team were using the same voice, tone, and messaging for our future and current employees.

Launched a 24-page career website and a careers blog segmented by candidate personas, resulting in a 150% traffic increase in the first year.

 Results: Grew web candidate growth by 57% and web hires by 31% in two years.

Social Media

Led performance-driven social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) with persona-focused recruitment content.

Results: Record engagement, clicks, and 100,000 impressions in the first six months.

With the growing importance of video content for our candidate audience, our team began producing in-house Day-In-the-Life Recruiting videos on YouTube.

Results: A new Point B YouTube playlist called "FindYour Point B" was launched, featuring 11 new videos that have reached over 13,000 views in the first six months.

Photoshoots

We wanted to move away from using stock photography and instead showcase our exceptional employees in our employer brand images.

My role: I led the planning for our annual employee photoshoot in partnership with corporate Marketing. This included photographer selection, casting plan, shot list, and on-site production oversight.

Monthly Newsletter

Launched a new monthly candidate newsletter featuring employer brand storytelling from our various activation channels.

 Results: Grew the talent network to 13,000 candidates in the first year. Achieved a 13.5% click-to-open rate for the monthly talent newsletter.

New Hire Box

Our team reimagined the new hire gifts for the company to tie into the overall employee guidelines. The welcome package signified the start of a journey at Point B and acted as a launchpad for Point B’s Employee Advocacy Program. Each box had a hand signed welcome message from the CEO, a call to action to post on social media, and a Point B thermos.
